Catering
The Friends of Eastwoodhill offer a unique, high quality catering service within the tranquility of Eastwoodhill Arboretum, National Arboretum of New Zealand.
Visitors are able to enjoy morning or afternoon teas, boxed lunches, light lunches or evening meals ranging from Barbeques to formal dinners.
Country styled boxed lunches prepared by catering volunteers, to be taken to a favourite area of the arboretum or Homestead Gardens to enjoy the abundant bird life or alluring scents within.
If something more substantial is required then a scrumptious light lunch or evening BBQ in the relaxing Douglas Cook Center Courtyard may be more suitable.
All catering is available by prior arrangement. Please contact the Visitor Center office to confirm date availability and pricing.
2007 Menu
Morning and/or afternoon Tea – $7.50 pp
A selection of home-style delicacies such as:
muffin, slice, cakes or sandwiches
Tea or coffee included.
Boxed Lunch – $12.50 pp
A selection of sandwiches and other goodies in a box.
Tea or coffee included.
Light Lunches – $17.50 pp
A light luncheon consisting of a main item, with accompanying salads.
Also, a sweet treat with tea or coffee.
Picnic Lunch - From $30.00 pp Standard or gourmet picnic lunch tailored to your requirements. Includes a tour of the Arboretum.
Barbeques – From $25 pp
Barbequed locally grown meat, delicious salad and dessert!
Tea or coffee included.
Please note:
- Menu variations, vegetarian and other refreshments are also available.
- Minimum number – fifteen people per meal or a minimum charge of $150 (minimum charges do not apply to morning/afternoon teas).
- Catering requirements and numbers must be advised a minimum of 5 working days prior to the day.
