As much as we have been planning for this annual event, we have to cancel this year’s Teddy Bear Picnic. It’s not a decision we make lightly. We know our community look forward to this day. We reconnect with old friends and welcome people enjoying the wonders of Eastwoodhill for the first time.

However, our groundcrew and team of volunteers have assessed the grounds and determined that it’s too wet underfoot to proceed. With last weekend’s rain and more still to come, the lawns would suffer significantly from the heavy foot traffic and event infrastructure.

Eastwoodhill is open daily, and we welcome you to come take in the autumn colour and our 25 kms of trails. There are many picnic tables and park benches scattered throughout the park, perfect for a family picnic. And the playground is always a hit with the kids. We hope to see you soon!
