We have our fabulous Christmas in the Trees event at Eastwoodhill coming up on Thursday the 19th of December from 4:30 – 8pm.

Bring your family for a festive evening out, or your workmates for a Christmas shout. Celebrate the end of school term, the beginning of Summer, let the festivities begin! Family friendly and fun! Check out what you can expect this year….

We’ll have live music from P.S.Outloop, the Gisborne Civic Brass band and the Gisborne Choir! Join us for some carols and great tunes whilst having a picnic amongst our trees.

Bring a picnic blanket and chairs. Located near our daffodil fields, you’ll find a perfect grassy knoll to lay down your picnic blanket whilst the kids explore and play the games set up around the area.

Santa will be visiting! With a drive through appearance and lolly scrambles! This is a great chance for the little ones to post their letters to Santa into his mailbox.

Harold the Giraffe will be coming! Thank you Life Education for joining us!

Dinner is sorted! You’re welcome to bring your own picnic but there will also be food trucks and stalls offering an array of tasty options to purchase and of course the all-important ice-cream and candy floss. Featuring; Food Cartel, the Ice Cream Bros, Coffee Fix, Street Treats, Sausage Sizzle and Gourmet Burgers by the Friends of Eastwoodhill!

Christmas shopping! Enjoy our Christmas market promoting local creatives. The perfect chance to get some last-minute presents and local fair for the Christmas table.

Play Games & Dress UP! Children Dress Up as your favourite Christmas Character! Lawn games provided for all ages and abilities. Christmas Raffles and Lolly Scrambles!

Buggy Ride entry! Parking will be available at the NZMCA campground, entry from Hihiroroa Road. A walkway to the event will be markered, but if you would like to enjoy a buggy ride to the location, and for those less abled, our staff will be ushering you aboard our buggies to drive you to the festivities. Gold coin donation appreciated.

Ticketing! This year is bigger and better and with that comes a small cost. All ticket revenue goes towards the costs of this event. We hope you will support this event so we can hold it annually. Don’t miss Tairāwhiti’s event of the year this Christmas!
