I am originally from Gisborne (Whangara). I studied Horticulture to create my own flower farm but then I got asked to work here and the rest is history.

I was the Horticulturist to start with and managed the propagation shed.

I love the diversity of species in the Arboretum. My son Tyke also helps us out around the buildings with our “tech” side of things.
