Work with Eastwoodhill

If you’re interested in helping to preserve and develop Eastwoodhill, becoming a volunteer is a rewarding experience as working to uphold New Zealand’s national arboretum is a privilege and a legacy to be left for many generations to come.

There are a range of different volunteering options that you can do:

  • Volunteering in the Shop, running this at the weekends.
  • Support in the gardens.
  • Helping the operations team in the Arboretum with general maintenance.
  • Helping with events.

Some of our volunteers stay here at the arboretum, we provide free board, and they help us out wherever they are needed. We have met and made lasting connections with some fantastic volunteers over the years!

If you are keen to volunteer at Eastwoodhill, please register your interest below.
